1991 German Formula Three Championship was a season of 2-litre Formula Three racing across Europe. It started 31 March at Zolder and ended 28 September at Hockenheim after eleven rounds. Tom Kristensen, driving for Volkswagen Motorsport, won the championship with three race wins and four additional podium finishes. Marco Werner finished second, with a win at Diepholz Airfield Circuit. Marc Hessel won at Norisring and finished in the top three in the standings. Other race winners were Frank Krämer, Klaus Panchyrz, Peter Kox and Wolfgang Kaufmann. Mathias Arlt won the B-Cup championship.
