The 1984 Swedish Open was a men’s tennis tournament in Båstad, Sweden, played on outdoor clay. It was part of the 1984 Grand Prix tennis circuit and the 37th edition of the event, held from July 16 to July 22, 1984. The singles champion was Henrik Sundström, the second seed, who defeated Anders Järryd 3–6, 7–5, 6–3 in the final. In doubles, Jan Gunnarsson and Michael Mortensen won, defeating Juan Avendaño and Fernando Roese 6–0, 6–0. The tournament featured 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams, with prize money of $75,000.
