1978–79 Cypriot Second Division
The 1978–79 Cypriot Second Division was the 24th season of Cyprus’ second-tier football league. Fourteen teams competed, each playing the others twice (home and away). Keravnos Strovolou FC won their first title and were promoted to the 1979–80 First Division. The bottom two teams, Iraklis Gerolakkou and Parthenon Zodeia, were relegated to the 1979–80 Third Division.
