1966–67 Football League
The 1966–67 Football League season was the 68th completed season of the Football League. It consisted of four divisions: First, Second, Third and Fourth.
First Division
- Champions: Manchester United (7th English title)
- Relegated: Aston Villa, Blackpool

Second Division
- Champions: Coventry City
- Promoted: Coventry City, Wolverhampton Wanderers
- Relegated: Northampton Town, Bury

Third Division
- Champions: Queens Park Rangers (their 1st title)
- Promoted: Middlesbrough
- Relegated: Darlington, Doncaster Rovers, Swansea Town, Workington
- Top scorer: Rodney Marsh (QPR) (30 goals)
- Season facts: 552 matches, 1,646 total goals
Fourth Division
- Champions: Stockport County (1st title)
- Promoted: Barrow, Southport, Tranmere Rovers
- Relegation: none (no clubs failed re-election)
- Top scorer: Ernie Phythian (Hartlepools United) (23 goals)
- Season facts: 552 matches, 1,500 total goals
Notes
- If teams finished level on points, goal average (goals scored divided by goals conceded) decided their positions.
- Since the Fourth Division was created, the bottom four teams could be up for re-election each season.
