1956 Moomba TT

The 1956 Moomba TT was a car race for open and closed sports cars held at the Albert Park Circuit in Victoria, Australia, on 11 March 1956. It was the second Moomba TT, following a similar race in 1955. The 150-mile event was the feature race on the first day of a two-day meeting held during Melbourne’s Moomba Festival. The meeting was organized by the Light Car Club of Australia for the Argus Moomba Motor Races Committee. Tony Gaze won the race driving a HWM Jaguar.
