The 1931–32 Sheffield Shield season was the 36th season of Australia’s domestic first-class cricket competition. The format was a double round-robin with four teams, and 12 matches were played.
New South Wales won the championship for the 19th time, by having the better average.
Top run-scorer: Vic Richardson (South Australia) – 690 runs
Top wicket-taker: Clarrie Grimmett (South Australia) – 29 wickets
