1928 Nebraska gubernatorial election
The 1928 Nebraska gubernatorial election was held on November 6, 1928. Republican Arthur J. Weaver, the former mayor of Falls City, defeated Democratic candidate Charles W. Bryan, a former governor. Weaver received 308,262 votes (57.0%), while Bryan received 230,640 votes (42.6%). The incumbent governor before the election was Adam McMullen, a Republican. Weaver became the new governor.
