1915 Mid Antrim by-election
The 1915 Mid Antrim by-election was held on 17 February 1915. It was triggered by the death of sitting Irish Unionist MP Arthur O'Neill, who was killed in action at Klein Zillebeke ridge during the First Battle of Ypres in World War I. His brother, Hugh O'Neill, also an Irish Unionist, was elected unopposed to the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
