11th FAI World Rally Flying Championship
11th FAI World Rally Flying Championship was held in Ravenna, Italy, from September 4 to 12, 1999. A total of 48 crews from 16 countries competed: Poland (5 teams), South Africa (5), Italy (5), France (4), Czech Republic (4), Slovakia (4), Austria (4), Germany (4), United Kingdom (2), Greece (2), Russia (2), Spain (2), Chile (2), Republic of Macedonia (2), Slovenia (1), Cyprus (1).
The competition included three navigation rounds. The final score counted the two best results for each crew, based on penalty points. All five Polish crews finished in the top ten.
