100-Mosques-Plan is a project by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Germany to build 100 new mosques. It was started in 1989 during the community’s 100-year anniversary by Mirza Tahir Ahmad, who was the Khalifa at that time. The project is funded entirely by the German Ahmadiyya community through member donations, and most planning and construction work is done by volunteers from Germany. Today, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community operates 52 mosques and 65 prayer centres in Germany.
