Zsolt Nyitrai (born 12 April 1977 in Eger, Hungary) is a Hungarian politician from the Fidesz party. He has been a Member of the Hungarian Parliament since 2002 and served as Secretary of State for Infocommunications in the Ministry of National Development from June 2010 to September 2011.

Nyitrai grew up in Eger, attended the local primary school and Gárdonyi Géza High School, and earned a law degree from the University of Miskolc in 2001. He speaks English and Italian. He joined Fidesz in 1994. In 1998 he led the party’s campaign in Eger, was elected to the city council and chaired the Youth and Sport Committee. He founded Fidelitas’ countryside branch and became its first vice-president in 2001. He held several campaign roles for Fidesz, including deputy head of the 2004 European Parliament campaigns and director of campaigns in 2006, helping organize campaigns and shape the party’s image.

In Parliament, Nyitrai has served on committees such as Law Enforcement, European Integration and International Cooperation, and later on Economic Affairs and Informatics. He has introduced many motions and spoken on various issues. Since 2006 he has represented Heves County as a Fidesz-KDNP member and chaired the Informatics and Telecommunication Working Group. He also joined the Consumer Protection Ad Hoc Committee in 2007. In addition to his 2010–2011 role as Secretary of State, he served as Prime Minister’s Commissioner for the Government’s Human Policy from 2011 to 2012. He was elected MP for Eger again in 2014 and, in 2015, became Ministerial Commissioner for Development in Heves County. He was re-elected MP for Eger in 2018.
