Zebu Nation
Zebu Nation is Razia Said’s debut studio album, released on February 23, 2010, by the U.S. label Cumbancha. The music blends Malagasy styles with jazz and R&B from her time in New York City. The songs highlight deforestation in Madagascar and its impact on the land she loves. The title refers to the zebu cattle, whose grazing is linked to forest destruction through slash-and-burn farming.
