Yves Christen (born 13 July 1941 in Bern) is a Swiss politician from the FDP. He served as President of the National Council from 6 November 2002 to 1 November 2003. He studied civil engineering at ETH Zurich and earned a diploma there. He was elected to the National Council in 1995 and served until 2006. He is married and has two children. In sports, he practiced judo and won the Swiss Championship in the under-63 kg category in 1968 in Fribourg.
