Yu Joy Yin
Jesse Yu Joy Yin (Chinese: 余在言; born 8 October 2001) is a Hong Kong footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Hong Kong Premier League club Eastern and the Hong Kong national team. He is 1.70 m tall.
Yu started his youth career with CFCSSHK (2013–2018). He later played for CFCSSHK’s senior team (2018–2019), then Happy Valley (2020–2021), Hong Kong Rangers (2021–2023), and Eastern (2023–2024). In 2025 he joined Shijiazhuang Gongfu in China’s League One, and he returned to Eastern in 2026.
He made his international debut for Hong Kong on 14 June 2022 in a Asian Cup qualifier against India. He has represented Hong Kong at several youth levels and has 19 senior caps with 2 goals as of 13 November 2025. Yu was named to Hong Kong’s squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup (announced 26 December 2023).
