Sylvia Karres (born 8 November 1976 in Leiderdorp, Netherlands) is a retired Dutch field hockey player who played as an attacker for the Amsterdam club and the Netherlands national team. She helped the Netherlands win a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. In 2006, she was part of the Dutch team that won the Women's Hockey World Cup and she was the tournament’s top scorer with 6 goals. She also won the Champions Trophy with the Netherlands in 2003 (Sydney), 2005 (Canberra), and 2006 (Amstelveen).
