Word Biblical Commentary
The Word Biblical Commentary (WBC) is a set of English Bible commentaries for both the Old and New Testaments. It is published by Zondervan. It began under Word Books and later appeared in the Thomas Nelson catalog. When Thomas Nelson was bought by HarperCollins, the WBC moved to Zondervan. Christianity Today named the WBC in 1996 as one of evangelicalism’s major publications of the late 20th century, and a 2010 CT article recommended it among useful commentaries.
