Wolfgang Bochow (26 May 1944 – 14 September 2017) was a German badminton player who was among the world’s best in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Born in Braunschweig, he was tall and powerful, known for a very strong backhand and for helping West Germany shine in international badminton.

Achievements:
- European Championships: Gold in men’s singles in 1972. From 1968–1976 he won eight more European medals: singles silver and two bronzes; mixed doubles silver and three bronzes; and a bronze in men’s doubles.
- All-England: Singles semi-finalist, 1971; mixed doubles finalist, 1970 with Irmgard Latz.
- Olympics: Bronze in singles at the 1972 Munich Games (badminton was a demonstration sport).
- German National titles: 15 titles (1963–1975): eight in singles, two in doubles, five in mixed doubles.
- Death: Died on 14 September 2017, aged 73.
