William W. Eldridge IV

William W. Eldridge IV is a Virginia Circuit Court Judge for the 26th Judicial District. He was raised in Orange County, California, and earned his JD from George Mason University School of Law in 2004, the same year he passed the Virginia bar.

Eldridge worked as a defense attorney and was a partner at Eldridge & Nagy until 2015, handling civil cases and working on one federal and one state death penalty case. In June 2015, he was temporarily appointed as a General District Court judge for the 26th Judicial Circuit and was sworn in on July 8, 2015, serving in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. On May 1, 2020, he was promoted to the Circuit Court for an eight-year term. Chris Collins succeeded him in the General District Court. Eldridge lives in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
