Pirates of Malaysia (Italian: I pirati della Malesia) is a 1964 swashbuckler film directed by Umberto Lenzi, starring Steve Reeves as Sandokan. It is a sequel to Sandokan the Great (1963).

In the story, Sandokan and his group of rebels, the Tigers, fight to stop a British general from forcing the Sultan Hassim to resign in favor of the Empire. The cruel governor, Lord James Guillonk, rules the territories of Borneo and Malaysia for Queen Victoria. Sandokan’s enemy also includes Tremal-Naik, a Hindu opponent of the British, who warns Sandokan about the Thugs, a secret cult that worships the goddess Kali. The Thugs kidnap Tremal-Naik’s beloved, and when she is recaptured by Guillonk, Sandokan prepares for another battle.

The screenplay was written by Victor Andres Catena, Jaime Comas Gil, and Ugo Liberatore, based on Emilio Salgari’s novel. Pirates of Malaysia was released in Italy on 16 October 1964 and runs 110 minutes.
