Walter Taibo

Wálter Taibo Martínez (7 March 1931 – 10 January 2021) was a Uruguayan football goalkeeper. He played for the Uruguay national team from 1955 to 1966, earning 30 caps, and was part of the squad for the 1966 FIFA World Cup. At club level, he spent time with Nacional (1953–1959), Huracán in Argentina (1959–1960) where he appeared 41 times, Wanderers (1961–1966), Peñarol (1966–1967), and Sud América (1968).
