Vishal Singh (born 16 January 1974 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh) is an Indian television and film actor and former model. He began as a child actor in the 1982 film Rajput. His TV debut came in 1989 with Indradhanush on Doordarshan, directed by Anand Mahendroo, where he acted alongside Karan Johar. He is best known for his role as Sanju in the comedy series Dekh Bhai Dekh. In the 1990s, he played Bilal in Gul Gulshan Gulfaam and appeared in music videos such as Maikhane se Sharab se (Pankaj Udhas) and Sriram Iyer's Aisa Bhi Kabhi Hota Hai. In 2011 he played Jeet Ahuja in Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi. In 2016 he joined Star Plus’s long-running drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Naitik Singhania, replacing Karan Mehra, and he said he was excited to portray an ideal husband, father and son. He was active in the industry from 1982 to 2018.
