Ventilation: Da LP is the first solo album by rapper Phife Dawg, released in 2000 (recorded 1999–2000). The hip-hop record runs about 48 minutes and was released on Groove Attack, produced by Jay Dee, Pete Rock, Rick Rock, and Hi-Tek. The singles Bend Ova (1999) and Flawless (2000) had small levels of success. It was Phife Dawg’s only solo album released while he was alive. The album wasn’t a big commercial hit, but critics noted its charm: The A.V. Club called it charming and intimate, while MTV described it as brilliant but ignored.
