Useless Trinkets: B-Sides, Soundtracks, Rarities and Unreleased 1996–2006 is a compilation by Eels released in early 2008 to celebrate the band's tenth anniversary. The collection gathers B-sides, soundtrack pieces, rare tracks and unreleased material from 1996–2006, and it includes a live DVD from Lollapalooza 2006, behind-the-scenes photos, and commentary by lead singer Mark Oliver Everett.

Release dates and chart info
- United States: January 15, 2008
- United Kingdom: January 21, 2008 (reached #69 on the UK Albums Chart)

Contributors and related releases
- All songs are by Eels unless noted otherwise.
- The set was released together with Meet the Eels: Essential Eels, Vol. 1 (1996–2006), a greatest-hits collection.

Advertising note
- The band attempted to run a one-second ad during the 2008 Super Bowl to promote Useless Trinkets, but the NFL denied the request. Everett explained that selling ad time by the second isn’t allowed and that a rapid-fire sequence of one-second spots could cause medical issues and would violate network rules.
