Un beso en el puerto is a 1965 Spanish film directed by Ramón Torrado. It stars Manolo Escobar, Ingrid Pitt, Antonio Ferrandis, María Isbert, and Manuel Alexandre. Set in Benidorm in the 1960s, the story follows Manolo, a gas station worker who is fired for his love of singing. He meets an old friend, Jaime, who lives like a prince and is surrounded by tourists. Jaime shares a trick to win women, and when he’s away, Manolo borrows his disguise to try the trick himself. He goes to the port of Alicante, warmly greets the first handsome traveler to land with “Welcome, Dorothy!”, and, amid the confusion, begins a pretend friendship.
The film runs 86 minutes and is in Spanish.
