Ubir, also known as Kubiri, is an Oceanic language spoken in Oro Province, Papua New Guinea. As of the 2000 census, about 2,600 people spoke it. It is part of the Austronesian language family, in the Western Papuan Tip branch, within the Kilivila – Nuclear Papuan Tip Are–Taupota Are subgroup. The ISO code is ubr and the Glottolog code is ubir1237.
