Tyler Spencer
Tyler Spencer, born January 22, 1972 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and author. He is best known as Dick Valentine, the lead singer and main lyricist of Electric Six, a band he co-founded in 1996 after it was renamed from the Wildbunch.
He also performs with the synth-pop duo Evil Cowards, has sung with the hard rock band Bang Camaro, and was briefly a member of The Dirty Shame. In 2012 he released his first solo album, Destroy the Children, under the Dick Valentine name.
His first solo project outside collaborations was the Bite Me soundtrack for the Machinima series, for which he wrote and performed many original songs while Evil Cowards’ William Bates scored the show. Machinima released a video for his song “Zombie, Zombie Skeleton” on September 11, 2011 to promote Dead Rising 2. On June 14, 2012 he teamed with Mighty Tiny to form The Dick Valentine Band and performed a Bite Me soundtrack live.
