Thermon Blacklidge
Thermon Talmadge "Blackie" Blacklidge (March 19, 1920 – July 6, 1972) was an American professional basketball player. A forward, he was 6'3" tall and weighed 185 pounds. He was born in Moselle, Mississippi, and died in Jackson, Mississippi at age 52. He went to Rainey High School in Rainey, Mississippi, then played college basketball at Jones County Junior College and Delta State University. At Delta State, he became the school's first men's basketball All-American. He played professionally for the Sheboygan Red Skins in the National Basketball League during the 1941–42 season, averaging 4.6 points per game.
