The Studio School Liverpool
The Studio School Liverpool is a mixed school for students aged 13 to 19 in Liverpool, England. It opened in September 2013 and is part of the Northern Schools Trust. It shares the building with Liverpool Life Sciences UTC in the former Contemporary Urban Centre (CUC), a Victorian warehouse on Greenland Street in the Baltic Triangle.
The CUC is a Grade II-listed warehouse built in the late 1800s. It housed an oil warehouse, was renovated in 2008 as a charity venue, and closed in 2011 due to funding problems. In 2012, the Northern Schools Trust bought the site and turned it into The Studio School Liverpool and Liverpool Life Sciences UTC.
The Studio School focuses on technology and digital art and receives support from six sponsors. In the sixth form, students can choose their own courses or follow two recommended learning pathways. An additional Analyst pathway with general subjects was available in the past but has been removed.
