The Moment is a song by Ai featuring Yellow Bucks. It’s from Ai’s album Dream and was released as a single on June 28, 2021. The 3 minute 22 second track blends J-pop and hip hop. It was written by Ai Uemura and Yellow Bucks and produced by Ai, DJ Ryow, and Space Dust Club. The single was released by EMI Records and Universal Music Group.
Ai had previously worked with DJ Ryow on Never Change from his 2021 album Still Dreamin’. In mid-June 2021, Ai teased the project with studio photos and officially announced the single on June 21, sharing a short excerpt on YouTube. The Moment was released digitally on June 28, 2021, and Ai performed it with Yellow Bucks and DJ Ryow on the Japanese TV show CDTV.
A music video, directed by Yue, was released on July 5, 2021. It stars Ai, Yellow Bucks, DJ Ryow, Riehata, Thelma Aoyama, Luna, Sid, and Tee, as they sing and rap in various city locations.
