The Flower Shop is a visual novel series by Winter Wolves. The first game, The Flower Shop - Summer in Fairbrook, was released on February 1, 2010, followed by The Flower Shop - Winter in Fairbrook on December 8, 2011. The games run on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and are also available for Android and iOS.

Gameplay combines story dialogue and choices with a farming mini-game. In Summer you grow crops and sell them for money, and you can use fertilizer to speed growth. In Winter you grow flowers. Each game has a gallery to rewatch the endings, and there are nine different endings in each game.

Story: In Summer, Steve, a college student, is dumped by his girlfriend and sent to his uncle’s farm for the summer. He plans his week and can start a romance with one of four girls; the choices lead to different endings. In Winter, Natalie, a college student on winter break, goes to Fairbrook to work in a flower shop and can romance one of four boys, with different endings based on choices.

Development and extras: The games were created with Ren'Py. Free demos are available on Winter Wolves’ website. There was talk of a crossover with the Jisei series, possibly titled Jisei in Fairbrook.

Reception: The first game scored 85/100 on Gamertell, praising its pace, farming element, and visuals and sound. Mac Games gave 3.5/5 stars, noting it appeals beyond a young-girl audience and has suitable music and well-drawn characters. The sequel scored 83/100 on Gamertell.
