The Clock was a 30-minute radio suspense anthology on ABC, airing from November 3, 1946, to May 23, 1948. It was narrated by Father Time and created by Lawrence Klee. It started in New York with Clark Andrews directing and a talent pool from New York radio.

On March 4, 1948, ABC moved production to Hollywood because director William Spier was available after leaving the show Suspense earlier that year. The first Hollywood episode was "Nicky," with Cathy Lewis and Elliott Lewis guesting, and William Conrad as the narrator. Other episodes starred actors like Jeanette Nolan and Hans Conried. However, sponsorship did not come, and ABC canceled The Clock after twelve weeks in Hollywood.

Spier returned as producer (but not director) of Suspense in 1949. In 1955, a version of The Clock was produced in Australia by Grace Gibson Productions.
