The Amazing Race Australia 8
The Amazing Race Australia 8, also known as The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition 2, is the eighth season of the Australian version of The Amazing Race and the second celebrity edition. Hosted by Beau Ryan, it features eleven teams of two with pre-existing relationships and at least one celebrity, racing around the world for A$100,000 for their chosen charity.
The race covered about 25,000 kilometres over 12 legs, spanning three continents: South America (Argentina), Africa (South Africa and Namibia) and Asia (Thailand). It started in Buenos Aires and finished in Bangkok. The season aired on Network 10 from 9 September to 20 October 2024. Filming ran from 7 May to 1 June 2024, with producers saying the route would go further than the previous celebrity season.
Winners: Tai "Bam Bam" Tuivasa and his brother Logan Tuivasa. Runners-up: Billy Brownless and his son Oscar. Third place: Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley.
