Théo Pourchaire is a French racing driver born on August 20, 2003 in Grasse, France. He started karting at a very young age and moved into car racing in 2018, quickly making a name for himself with a string of championships.

He won the Junior French F4 title in 2018, then the ADAC Formula 4 Championship in 2019. In 2020 he stepped up to FIA Formula 3 with ART Grand Prix and finished the season as runner-up.

Pourchaire climbed into FIA Formula 2 in 2021 with ART Grand Prix, finishing fifth in his rookie year. He was runner-up in 2022 and finally won the Formula 2 championship in 2023, becoming one of the series’ youngest champions.

In 2024 he tried his hand in IndyCar with Arrow McLaren, initially as a stand-in for an injured driver and then as a full-time runner before being replaced later that year. He also spent time as a reserve driver with Alfa Romeo in Formula 1 during 2022–2024 and did some testing for the team.

In 2025 Pourchaire shifted focus to endurance racing. He joined Algarve Pro Racing for the European Le Mans Series and competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the same team. He then moved to Peugeot to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship, driving the No. 93 car. He even stood in for Peugeot’s No. 94 during a race in Bahrain, helping the team to a 10th-place finish, and was later announced as a full-time Peugeot driver for the 2026 season.

Outside of racing, Pourchaire enjoys playing video games like Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto, is a fan of Star Wars, and says Drake is his favorite artist. If he weren’t racing, he says he would work in the sports industry. He admires Formula One champions Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher.
