Te Rere o Kapuni
Te Rere o Kapuni, also known as Dawson Falls, is a waterfall in the Taranaki region of New Zealand, at the base of Mount Taranaki. It is believed to be the place where the Māori prophet Tahupotiki Wiremu Ratana received and revived his healing powers, and it is sacred to Māori in the Ratana Church. In 2006 the waterfall broke apart and is now about half its original size. Ratana Church members see this as a divine sign from Jehovah about the church’s future.
