Syun Koide is a Japanese racing driver born on October 26, 1999, in Higashiōsaka. He is part of the Honda Formula Dream Project.

Koide began racing in the F4 Japanese Championship in 2020. Honda withdrew its entry because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so he competed with Vegaplus from the second round alongside Kakunoshin Ohta and finished 10th. In 2021 he stayed in F4 with the Honda Formula Dream Project, scoring one win and finishing sixth overall. In 2022 he won the F4 Japanese Championship with nine race wins, finishing ahead of teammate Yusuke Mitsui.

In 2023 he raced in Super Formula Lights with Toda Racing, earning several wins and podiums. He then joined B-Max Racing Team in the same series and won the Drivers’ Championship with eight wins and multiple podiums. That year he also competed in GT300 in the Super GT series with Team UpGarage, taking his first GT300 win in Okayama and another win at Suzuka.

Koide stayed with Team UpGarage in 2024. In 2025 he moved up to GT500 with Real Racing (car 17) and started racing in Super Formula with B-Max Racing Team (car 50). The 2025 season is ongoing, and he has already secured a GT500 podium with a best finish of 11th so far.
