The Philippines women’s national 3x3 team plays in international 3x3 basketball and is run by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP). They first competed abroad at the 2009 Asian Youth Games in Singapore, advancing from the group stage before losing to South Korea in the quarterfinals. They also took part in the Asian Beach Games in 2012, 2014 and 2016.

Because the Philippines hosted the 2018 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, the women’s team qualified automatically for the event. It marked the Philippines’ debut in a FIBA 3x3 World Cup and the first time a Philippine women’s 3x3 team played in a FIBA World Cup event. Under coach Patrick Aquino, they lost their opening games to the Netherlands (11–21) and Germany (10–12), then to Spain (17–21) and Hungary (15–18), finishing bottom of Pool D. Aquino said the defeats came from inexperience but that the team could compete with European opponents. He also hoped SBP would push for a 3x3 women’s team at the 2018 Asian Games, but no team entered.

SBP outlined a plan to build a 3x3 program aimed at qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics through 3x3. In 2019 the team played in the FIBA Asia 3x3 Cup, qualifying by topping a group that included Samoa, Vanuatu and Chinese Taipei. In the main tournament group stage they lost to Japan but beat Sri Lanka to reach the quarterfinals, where they were defeated by Australia.

The Philippines also earned a spot for the 2019 FIBA U18 World Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In 2025 the team finished fourth in the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup, their best result so far, despite Camille Clarin’s injury. In 2024, two squads, Gilas A and Gilas B, competed in the PBA Women’s 3x3 Invitational.
