Systematic & Applied Acarology Society
Systematic & Applied Acarology Society is an international group for scientists who study mites and ticks. It aims to advance acarology and help researchers collaborate worldwide. Founded in 1996, it publishes: Acarology Bulletin (newsletter); Systematic & Applied Acarology (peer‑reviewed journal); and Systematic and Applied Acarology Special Publications (short papers and monographs), which were merged into the journal in 2012. The society also sometimes publishes books for members and runs an online e‑reprint library for acarologists.
