Men's 100 metre backstroke at the 1995 Pan American Games was held at the Complejo Natatorio from March 12 to 17. The race was two lengths of the pool, all in backstroke. The defending champion from 1991 was Andrew Gill of the United States. Swimmers from several countries competed. The medals went to: gold – Jeff Rouse (United States), silver – Tripp Schwenk (United States), and bronze – Rodolfo Falcón (Cuba). Times are recorded in minutes and seconds, and the final took place during March 12–17.
