Surya Pratap Shahi (born 23 December 1952) is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is the Cabinet Minister for Agriculture, Agriculture Education and Agriculture Research in the Uttar Pradesh government, serving under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He has been elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in multiple terms (the 9th, 11th, 13th, 17th and 18th assemblies) and has represented Kasia and Pathardeva constituencies during his career.

Shahi has held several state government roles, including Minister of State for Home Affairs (1991–1992), Cabinet Minister for Health and Family Welfare, and Cabinet Minister for Excise & Liquor Prohibition (1997–2002).

Born in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, he studied at GIC Deoria, completed his graduation at B.R.D. College, and earned an LLB from Banaras Hindu University in 1974. His father, Rajendra Kishor Shahi, was an RSS organizer, and his uncle, Ravindra Kishor Shahi, was a Bhartiya Jana Sangh leader and a Uttar Pradesh minister (1977–1979). He married Rani Shahi in 1973 and has three children. Shahi began his political career in student politics at BHU and first won an assembly seat in 1985.
