Summer Wind (The Desert Rose Band song)
Summer Wind is a country song by The Desert Rose Band from their 1988 album Running. It was released July 30, 1988 as the first single from the album, with "Our Songs" as the B-side. The 3:26 track blends country and country rock and was written by Chris Hillman and Steve Hill. Produced by Paul Worley and Ed Seay, it was issued on MCA/Curb. The single followed "He's Back and I'm Blue" and preceded "I Still Believe in You" in 1988. Summer Wind reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, behind "Darlene" by T. Graham Brown.
