Star City High School
Star City High School is a public high school for grades 9–12 in Star City, Arkansas. It is the only public high school in Lincoln County and in the Star City School District, serving Star City, Grady, and nearby areas.
The school follows the Arkansas Smart Core curriculum, requiring at least 23 credits to graduate. Students take regular classes and may enroll in Advanced Placement (AP), EAST, and Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses.
Principal Lezeme Winn leads the school, and the district superintendent is Jordan Frizzell.
Enrollment was 416 students in the 2023–2024 school year, with about 33.6 full-time teaching staff and a student-teacher ratio of 12.38 to 1. The school is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE).
The CEEB code is 042337. School colors are blue and white, and the mascot is the Bulldog. The sports teams are called the Star City Bulldogs, competing in the 4A Region 8 conference. They offer football, golf, basketball, cross country, cheer, soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, and track.
Feeder middle school: Star City Middle School. In 2004, the Grady School District merged into the Star City School District, and Grady High School closed afterward.
Notable staff includes art teacher Roger Darren High, who was named Secondary Art Teacher of the Year by the Arkansas Art Educators.
