Spencer Long
Spencer Long (born November 8, 1990) is a former NFL center from Omaha, Nebraska. He played high school football at Elkhorn, then walked on at Nebraska in 2009 and became a regular starter in 2011–2012 before a knee injury ended his 2013 season.
The Washington Redskins drafted him in the third round in 2014. He started at left guard in 2015 and moved to center in 2016. After knee problems in 2017, he signed with the New York Jets in 2018, starting 13 games. He then played for the Buffalo Bills (2019–2020) and briefly joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 before retiring. Career: 67 games, 44 starts. College honors include 2012 First-team All-Big Ten and Second-team All-American.
