Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards is Gloryhammer’s second studio album, released on September 25, 2015. The deluxe edition includes an extra disc with orchestral versions of the whole album. It reached number 18 on the UK Rock & Metal charts.

Story in simple terms:
- In the year 1992, a millennium after Tales from the Kingdom of Fife, the evil wizard Zargothrax lies in cryogenic sleep on the planet Triton, guarded by the Space Knights of Crail.
- A cult of unholy chaos wizards plans to awaken him and unleash terror across the galaxy.
- Angus McFife XIII, a prince from the ancient line, sets out to stop him using the powerful Hammer of Glory, renamed the Astral Hammer over the centuries.
- Zargothrax seeks help from the Goblin King, who gives him a crystal key to a secret portal to Hell beneath Dundee.
- Allies join the fight: Hollywood Hootsman, the reformed Knights of Crail led by Ser Proletius and Ser Regulon, and the Questlords of Inverness.
- The two sides clash above Mars. Zargothrax returns to Earth to begin a ritual to summon the elder god Kor-Virliath.
- The hermit Ralathor warns of the danger. The Hootsman uses his neutron-star heart to blow up Dundee and stop the ritual just in time.
- Zargothrax escapes through a space-time rift, pursued by Angus McFife XIII.

Reception:
- Critics say the album’s story is meant for fun, but the music quality is strong.
- Some reviews note the very high-pitched vocals as a risky choice.
- All orchestral parts were conducted by Ben Turk.
