Solar Liberty Energy Systems, Inc. is a private American company that designs, installs, sells, and leases solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for homes, businesses, schools, municipalities, non-profits, and other properties. It is based in Williamsville, New York (near Buffalo) with offices throughout New York State.

Founded in 2003 in Buffalo by brothers Adam Rizzo and Nathan Rizzo, Solar Liberty has grown to be a leading solar installer in New York. It was named the largest solar installer in New York in 2018. The company was also recognized for fast growth: 92nd on Inc. magazine’s 2008 list of fastest-growing private U.S. companies and 6th fastest-growing in Western New York by Business First in 2012.

Solar Liberty Foundation:
The company’s foundation funds renewable energy projects in developing nations. Completed efforts include a health clinic, a school and orphanage in Haiti, solar cookers in Kenya, and projects in Liberia and Tanzania. In fall 2017, volunteers installed electricity for an all-girls school in Kitenga, Tanzania—the first time the area had electricity. The foundation continues to support solar energy for underdeveloped communities around the world.
