Shazand
Shazand (Persian: شازند) is a city in the Central District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran. It is the capital of both the county and the district. The population has grown from 19,353 in 2006 to 21,181 in 2016. In 2006 there were 5,265 households; 6,231 in 2011; and 6,677 in 2016. The city is in the Iran Standard Time zone (UTC+3:30) and is located at about 33°55′45″N 49°24′37″E.
