Shail Hada is an Indian playback singer and music director from Kota, Rajasthan, born on 11 April 1975. He trained in Hindustani classical music with his father, Jaswant Singh Hada, and studied at St. Paul’s School in Kota. He earned an MA in Music from the University of Kota and completed Sangeet Visharad from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya under Pundit Aaskar an Sharma.

After moving to Mumbai, he joined the Mumbai University music department and won six gold medals at national competitions. He started his career singing background vocals for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black and has since worked on many Bhansali projects. He gained wide recognition with Saawariya (2007), where he was Monty Sharma’s assistant and helped create a notable musical score.

In Guzaarish, he served as chief assistant music director, arranged tracks like Udi and Maza Saiba, and sang several songs including the title track with K.K. and Udi with Sunidhi Chauhan. His classical skills shine in the song "Tera Zikr Hain," which earned him the Stardust Award for New Sensation Male in 2011.

Shail has also worked in South Indian cinema, especially Tamil and Telugu, in Harris Jayaraj’s compositions. In 2011, he sang in Laxmikant–Pyarelal’s Maestros concert organized by Kakas Entertainment.
