Sette Bello (1962–1979) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. He is best known for winning the 1968 Widener Handicap at Hialeah Park in Florida. He is also the damsire of Timely Writer. Sired by the Italian champion Ribot, his dam was Honor Bound, a daughter of Bull Dog. He was bred and raced by Robert Lehman and trained by James P. Conway. The name Sette Bello comes from the Italian express train Settebello, meaning “the lucky or beautiful seven.”
