Sandra Gasser (born 27 July 1962 in Bern) is a retired Swiss middle-distance runner. After finishing third in the 1500 metres at the 1987 World Championships, she tested positive for a banned substance and was disqualified, serving a two-year ban. After her return, she won bronze medals at the 1990 European Championships in Split and at the 1993 World Indoor Championships in Toronto, though she fell before the finish line in the indoor final. Gasser won seven Swiss championship titles and still holds the Swiss record for the 800 metres. She is 1.71 m tall and weighed about 52 kg during her career.
