The Royal Cambodian Air Force (RCAF) is Cambodia’s air arm, part of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. It operates all military aircraft in Cambodia and is under the Ministry of National Defence. The RCAF is led by General Soeung Samnang, with four deputy commanders.

Founded on 9 November 1953, its headquarters are at Phnom Penh International Airport (formerly Pochentong Air Base). Maintenance of aircraft and helicopters is done at Pochentong, and some aircraft are based at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

Current aircraft include Mi-8, Mi-17, Z-9, AW109, and AS355 helicopters; and transport planes A320, MA60, Y-12, and BN-2.

In the past, the RCAF operated fighter jets such as MiG-21bis, L-39C Albatros, J-6C, MiG-17F, J-5, MiG-15UTI, and CM.170R Magister. By 2023 these fighters were no longer active and were seen on the ground at Phnom Penh.

The air force also has a professional football team that has competed in Cambodia’s league.

Its motto is in Khmer and English: "Defend the Kingdom of Cambodia."
