Roy Mbongui
Roy Chrichilin Mouniengue Mbongui (born 1 December 2005) is a Gabonese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al Wasl and the Gabon national team. He was born in Libreville, Gabon, and is 1.76 m tall.
Mbongui began his career with Nguen Asuku FC, then played for Bouenguidi Sport (2021–2022) and Stade Mandji (2022–2024). In February 2024, he joined UAE Pro League club Al Wasl on a two-year deal and started with the club’s youth setup for development.
Internationally, Mbongui has represented Gabon at the U23 level (five appearances, three goals in 2022) and made his senior debut on 20 November 2022 in a 3–1 friendly win over Niger. He was part of Gabon’s U23 squad at the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
